Groom for Improvement was founded on a simple belief: every dog deserves grooming that's calm, gentle, and professional. After years of working in busy salons, I wanted to create a space where anxious dogs could feel safe and owners could trust their pet was in expert hands.
I specialize in nervous dogs and those who've had difficult grooming experiences before. Using gentle handling techniques, patience, and positive reinforcement, I've helped hundreds of dogs learn that grooming doesn't have to be stressful.
Every appointment is one-to-one with no other dogs present. I work at your dog's pace, never rushing, and always prioritizing their comfort and wellbeing above all else.

I use gentle handling techniques, work at your dog's pace, and take breaks whenever needed. Many anxious dogs become our most relaxed regular clients.

All clippers, scissors, brushes, and combs are cleaned and disinfected with professional-grade barbicide between every client.
Fresh Towels
Every dog gets fresh, clean towels. Nothing is shared between clients. Towels are washed at high temperature after each use.
Safe Products
We use premium, pH-balanced shampoos suitable for canine skin. No harsh chemicals or artificial fragrances unless requested.
No Cage Dryers
We never use heated cage dryers. Your dog is hand-dried with a temperature-controlled dryer at a safe distance.
